Hustle 2012 Lost and Found

We have recovered 3 pairs of cleats, 3 umbrellas, a Southern Oracle disc, a large water jug, and a couple of sweatshirts. 


We'd love to give them back.  The easiest thing to do would be to bring them to State of claiming. Email us at hustletd@gmail.com to claim your lost item.  

IMPORTANT: Road Construction Update

Our inside source an MNDot has given us a heads up that there will be road closures that will affect our travel plans to Maple Plain this weekend.  Please plan accordingly so you can still arrive on time for the captains meeting.

Here are the two that will affect us the most:

--- Starting tomorrow at 7:00PM CDT --- I-94 westbound: Road closed. between I-394 (Minneapolis) and MN 280 (Saint Paul). Road closed. Follow the detour signs. Construction work. Starting tomorrow at 7:00PM CDT until Monday, at about 5:00AM CDT. Comment: Ramp closures to and from WB I-94 throughout the closure limits will begin at 7 p.m. May 18, including the ramps from NB and SB I-35W to WB I-94. The roadway and ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, May 21. For detour information: Click Here Resurfacing of roadway.

I-494 westbound: Road construction.

between MN 5 and Exit 1B: 34th Avenue South (Minneapolis). Road construction. Entrance ramp closed. Exit ramp closed. Starting tomorrow at 10:00PM CDT until Monday, at about 5:00AM CDT.

Comment: Exit Ramp to 34th Ave from WB 494 Closed. Entrance Ramp from WB TH5 to 34th Ave. Closed. Follow detour to TH 77 (Cedar Ave.). No restrictions for OSOW vehicles.

It looks like we'll all be taking 62...

Hopkins Hustle Update!

Coaches/Players-
We are looking forward to this weekend! We have a few bits of information regarding the event:
1. Captain's Meeting
We ask that all teams send a representative to the 8:30am captain's meeting on Saturday morning. We will be handing various different items, including tickets for your pizza in the evening.
2. Coach's Showcase Game & Pizza
We will having a Coach's showcase on on Saturday evening at 4:45pm on the field in front of tournament headquarters. We encourage all coaches to bring their cleats and participate! Each team will receive tickets for pizza in the morning (at the Captain's Meeting) and teams are encouraged to stay to watch (and heckle) their respective coaches.
3. Schedule
We are still in the process of finalizing the schedule and seedings for the weekend. We will send out an email once everything is locked in stone. We expect to finish by no later than Thursday evening. All teams will play at either 9:00am or 10:30am on Saturday morning.

4. Five Ultimate
Five Ultimate will be attending the Hustle this weekend, and will be selling all sorts of cool merchandise. They will also being selling Hopkins Hustle discs from Discraft at their booth.
5. Water!
We will be helping save the earth by using refillable 5 gallon jugs at the fields this weekend. Please remind your players to bring nalgenes/water bottles to reuse throughout the weekend. It is going to be hot! We will have water stations set up at various locations throughout the fields.
5. Rostering
Be sure to finish your roster prior to the weekend! If you have any one time event participants, please email us as soon as possible.

Five Ultimate attending Hopkins Hustle!

We are excited to announce that Five Ultimate will be attending the Hustle this year! Five will be designing all event merchandise and discs, and will be giving away shorts to the winning team in both divisions. More details to come! Keep those bids coming!
